I went on a major Dean Koontz craze about 10 years ago...unfortunately at the time after reading about 15 books in a row they really blended together. The plots were very similar. Recently my 14 year old has discovered him and I have read some of his newer works. Door to December is very good.

i like Dean Koontz. I actual have enjoyed all of his books that I actual have study thus far. i individually enjoyed The Taking, i replaced into greatly surprised with the help of the top. i like Stephen King nonetheless he's a genius in his writing. I do get so mad at his endings in some circumstances nonetheless, I study Thinner in severe college and while all of them ate the pie interior the top i replaced into indignant for a month. yet I basically keep circulate in back for extra King, I rather can say I actual have thoroughly enjoyed each e book that I actual have study of his.

Koontz is one of my guilty pleasures. I've read most of his books. Lately I'm enchanted by his Odd Thomas character and the two books (so far) featuring this character. Some of his horror is a bit off the wall, but he has some good plot hooks, and better character development than some of his peers.

I read my first Dean Koontz book, "Strangers", in 1978. I loved that book, which led me to start collecting his books. I quit doing that about 10 years ago, after it seeming like nearly all the plots were more or less then same-just different geographic locations and character names.

I used to like him a lot and still think some of his early work is pretty good. But as I read more and more I discovered my interests were in other areas of fiction and have kind of drifted away from him. In the past year I came back and read a few of his newer books and didn't care for them at all.

Don't like him as much as I used to although I still read his stuff. Lately, its almost like he's gotten religion or something and there are religious undertones running throughout. Cut out the preaching Dean and get back to writing good horror and thriller novels!!!
