Your question has got me worried

Even as a child I worried and if in the few times in my life I have not had anything to worry about personally I would start on the bigger issues, famine, world war 3 starting etc. I suppose it means we are engaged and in touch with the world around us, and that we care about our fellow human beings, animals, the environment. You can still be a positive person and be happy, and worry!

It's the media that has conditioned the population to be this way. So now people lap up stories of death and destruction, horrors lurking around the corner, etc. We only need to be informed on matters of concern without blowing things out of proportion. Unfortunately gloom equates to money, nobody wants 'man rescues cat from tree' sort of stories other than as a one off amusing footnote to the preceding imminent holocaust.

I am often accused of worrying about not having something to worry about. Sometimes life is hectic and there are genuine things that cause you concern but there are also things that you cannot do nothing about so therefore worrying about them is a waste of time.

Live each day as in the best way that you can, doing all the good that you can, is my guideline, but with some things worry is also there - guess it is natural and more prevalant with women then men who seem just able to switch off completely - lucky them.

Yes, it's strange isn't it? My girlfriend is that way. When she doesn't have anything to worry about, she panics and creates something to worry about. I'm the opposite, I'm happiest when I have nothing to worry about, and unhappy when I have to worry about something. Yeah, I'm not worried about any of that stuff you listed. I mean sure, they're problems, but worrying about them isn't going to make the problem go away. Why don't you stop worrying about it and go do something about it?

My first husband did that.

On holiday he would spend the first week worrying about what he had left behind and the second worrying about what he was going back to.

Although dubious about astrology, I have found that Cancerians are by far the worst worriers. Arians don't worry when they should.

human nature. that's also why people tend to remember the bad things more than the good ones.
