It is very common around the world. They use different words than own but that is just what it is. Nothing wrong with it as long as you treat them properly. I do think using the term own is a little strong not because you do not own them but because own does have a mind set that goes with it. indentured employee is one term. Also don't use the old term, slave. It sure can work out if it is done properly. Get out and see the world some day and you will see a lot of it.

Dude, are you serious? I am a nanny for a living and I like to tease and make fun of all I do, I'm like rent a mom or rent a slave i say but in joking humar. Because I clean and cook and do laundry and help kids with homework and organize the house and do groceries and errands but I do in fact get paid for it! But to want to own a minority is a trip! To want additional help around the house is one thing, but to straight up own a person is freakin crazy i think!!

My guess is your question is a joke designed to get a response. I find it hard to believe most people would think like this today. I do find it interesting that you used the term minority though. May I ask what you determine is the majority?

Unfortunately laziness is not a good reason to promote enslaving someone.

Actually, come to think of it, I can't fathom a single good reason to take away someones god given right of free will.

But I can recognize that when someone is enslaved they feel the need to enslave some one else. You live in a profit driven corporate society and are too afraid to take a real voice in the matter.

Welcome to Slavery! (You were pretty much born in to it.)

People with that desire are definitely in the minority these days. Maybe you could just buy yourself from you. Be sure and hold out for a good price.

Wanting to do something socially unacceptable is relatively normal- expressing as much is totally not- even in joke form. So yes, that's so wrong. How would you like to be owned?

I'd say you already own a minority - less than half a brain.

That's not very nice. I don't think you can own slaves anymore.

its an unrealistic goal, highly illegal. and more than somewhat insane, Why don't you just get married and treat him like a slave?
