Mostly from the sale of oil and business deals with US president Bush.
You *did* know the bin Laden family left the US days _after_ 9/11, right? And that Bush was a heavy investor in the BCCI before its collapse? And that Bush had direct business dealings with members of the bin Laden family? (None of those are suppositions, they're facts on the record.)
Oooh, the National Review! Now *there's* a "liberal" media!

The BCCI was a bank used by many terrorist groups to launder money. The bank collapsed after a criminal investigation that resulted in many prosecutions and seized the assets of many terrorist groups. The investigation was led by some nobody named John Kerry.

Bin Laden is the son of a wealthy Saudi Arabian family. He himself had numerous business interests and was a millionaire prior to 9/11. He is now probably funded covertly by his talliban and Al Quida supporters. It doesn't take a great deal of money to do what he is doing. He is probably sitting in somebody's living room in Pakistan or Iran. Audio tape recorders can be purchased for under 20 bucks, and lately that is the only way he has communicated with the world.

My theory is that he's employed by the CIA.
Look how much (politically very needed) sympathy & muscle the US government gained from these attacks?
Indeed, how our own UK government (& the business people who are really in charge) has used 9/11 as an excuse to curb our privacy & civil liberties? I can't event throw my sandwich wrapper away on the Tube because they've removed all the litter bins, and how much money will be wasted on attempting to launch ID cards? We alreaady have photo ID on driving licences & passports, where's the sense?
Look at all the confusion around Rumsfeld's "missile attack" on the empty part of the Pentagon (flight 77).
We allow thousands of kids to die every day in other countries and plenty on our own roads, yet how many people have died in 'terrorist' attacks on UK soil compared to this (I have lived in Northern Ireland, too)? Yet where do the media focus their impact?
Think about it!

Originally when he worked for the U.S.A. against the Russians.
Then they fell out.
He had by this time moved his wide family to the U.S.A. but they left one minute before all the airports were closed following 9-11.
The family was well received in the upper circles too.
I think they froze his bank accounts in the U.S.A.
Perhaps they were emptied before then?

He was a very wealthy man. He is also sponsored by Iran and Syria. Many Muslims and Muslim states give to him and his group. Do not forget however that the West especially the USA gives to Israel.
