Supposedly it's made of real diamonds and is really expensive.She is said to wear it because it's symbolic of her regained freedom from Tommy Mattola and Sony records, as well as control of her creative and artistic freedom. She is by the way doing a jewelry collection with a company. Can't remember the name, but if U type in www.sparklelikethestars.com U'll find some pics of the ring.
