Often a simple and common cause of looking pale is due to stress. This is due to the way in which the body uses the blood in times of stress and tension to pump to the organs, thus drawing colour away from the skin. Another reason is being in air-conditioned enviroments and suchlike also drain the skin of its natural flare. If your blood tests are clear its highly unlikely its anything to worry about - often these things have a rather simple cause :)

Hi i have the same problem, everyone asks it i am feeling ok because i look ill, and sometimes its really hurt full, There is nothing we can do about it, they take blood tests and stuff to check for anemia and other conditions, but its just the way our skin is. We have no colouring at all. I never use to have any colour in my cheeks i was constanlty pale, but i started to take vitamins and i think these helped a little. There is no need to be stressed out. I have tried to make myself look better but it never works, people who know me know im not ill so i dont care what other people think. All you can do is try to make you skin glow by exfoliating, i found that the hint of sun body lotions are quite good, but i cant use the ones for my face as my skin is sensitive but they may not bother you, its worth a go, just apply everyday and see what happens. Also if you have dark hair and eyes this contributes to our paleness, i have brown eyes and if i dye my hair brown everyone keeps asking if im ok, but its just because my hair is brown. But when i had highlights but in everyone said i had loads of colour, so maybe a lighter hair colour could help, but dont change your self to please others, Just do it if you are unhappy.
I know people say eat veg and get out but ive tried and its done nowt for me, besides not all people can stomach veg, they only say this because veg is full of vitamins so taking vitamins if you dont like veg is healthier for you. I find that when they say go outside, do they mean get a suntan, i find it hard to go brown i dont burn it just takes ages. But you could try if you havent already.

The first and foremost thing is to stop stressing as that will not do any good at all.
Secondly check you diet that you are getting a good balance of all healthy foods.
In the meantime wahy not pay a visit to a good beauty consultant in a local store and get their advice on make-up for pale english rose skin and achieve a good look that you are happy with.

Join the club of the pale and interesting! You are worried about your health and have done the right thing getting tested. Pay attention to your diet, get your vitamins and plenty of iron from natural sources, use sun protection and try not to worry. Good news paleskin glows in winter compared to all the sallow faded tans.

Enjoy your pale complexion, many would love to have a really pale complexion. However, you can always give your skin that extra glow by applying a good moisturiser and a very light foundation to your skin.

i have a really pale look too!
eating good fruit and veggies can help, getting outdoor excersise can help too.
i am afraid the only thing that really really makes a difference is the sun (or fake it as some of the other answers suggest as they are better for you)
but, more importantly - stop stressing out - i bet you are really pretty just the way you are!

Maybe you are just a pale person, some people are. I have had cancer and I was not pale so it doesn't necessarily mean that a person who is pale has cancer.

You need to get outdoors and oxygenate your system. That'll bring some colour to your cheeks. Gently buff your skin while showering will also improve your circulation!
