Hi kelrec, oops, i mean, mishi! lol.

The law of alchemy states that which "dies" is "reborn." The craftsman may use clay or some other material and by reshaping it(form dying) he reforms it into something else.

Same with us humans: what appears as rough, raw material can be shaped into something divine. When a person who is full of rage accepts and truly understands his rage, the rage is transformed into peace. Emotions are energy. Sometimes stuck energy. I've found that this law of alchemy is true for all emotions. Indifference turns into compassion, etc.

All the "negative" traits and/or emotions can be transformed into a finer, lighter material: through the alchemy of acceptance and love.

Alchemy is, of course, not real. But in the Middle Ages and Renaissance many many people thought it was real. For interesting literary accounts of fraudulent uses of Alchemy (along with a statement of some of its principles, you should read Ben Jonson's The Alchemist and Chaucer's Canon's Yeoman's Tale. Both provide detailed accounts of alchemical practice. You might also check out the website below, which has a host of translated old treatises on the subject. It's interesting and complex, but you'll have trouble extracting a set of basic laws because it never worked.
