Juicy Couture was bought by Liz Claiborne in 2003. Its sad to see a great brand sell out. What do you think about Liz Claiborne's practices of buying out other designers and hiding behind their label?

P.S. Did you know Kennith Cole and DKNY are also owned by L.C?

I don't know about Kenneth Cole and DKNY, but I don't see where the big deal is. In 2003, when LC purchased JCouture, the original co-founders, Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash remained co-presidents of the company. They still do the creative work. The innovation and integrity of the label has remained and improved since LC has backed it. Their lines have expanded and they even survived the Procter and Gamble lawsuit. JCouture is definitely on the rise.
