the best cure that i know of is to wake up at the same time every day, or at most 1 hour later than usual. this will set everything right. if you go to bed late, you have to wake up at the same time no matter what.

See the lss of sleep is primarly due to the thinking, loss of concentration etc.., so better do some yoga to regain your sleep and to become healthier. The medical, or more scientific, term for sleep walking is somnambulism.

Insomnia is often a symptom of magnesium deficiency. I recommended magnesium citrate to another reader here and she was absolutely amazed. She'd had sleepless nights for weeks, and the FIRST night she took this -- she slept like a baby.

valerian root is an herbal "valium" relaxant
melatonin is the chemical out brain sends out to tell us to go to sleep when it gets depleted with age, drugs, etc. we need to replace it. My son had alot of help with this just 1 pill about an hr before bedtime. not very expensive either
