Nope. But I still have strong feelings for the place. Oh Canada flows better in French. You want funny, then you want serious. I just don't understand you! And Flower of Scotland is pretty. Lots of room for a singer to work with....

NO! I am sorry but I am not very patriotic towards our Royal Family - so why should I ask God to save a queen that I do not think is very gracious?
National Anthem writers, though are very clever in their way of doing things and having visited Australia we do have some good memories and also brought back a CD which included Advance Australia Fair. This makes me sing at the top of my voice - and cry at the same time. It maybe has something to do with the fact that about 80% of my family are now over there. Still, my eldest sister has lived in Oz since 1962 - and she doesn't like their National Anthem. At least that one is about their land and people and not just the monarchy!

It's patriotism when you sing your national anthem and we
were trained to do that in school when we were young about
9 years old. It's a good feeling when all sing together on the
national anthem with the national flag raised high and flying
in the sky.
I believe many patriots from many countries do that without
malice.

Yes I do.
My husband served in the Armed Forces for 15 years and I hold our National Anthem very close to my heart.

Never because I have nothing to be patriotic about, I love living in England but I think we just need to learn that we suck at most things.

all the time but never for patriotism. usually i do it to show off because the average american doesn't know the words to the star spangled banner and will usually sing either america the beautiful or the pledge of allegiance.
