With the billions of stars out there, many of which could have planets in their hold, I think it's pretty arrogant to think we're the only life in the universe. This is not to say I think the Earth has been buzzed by them. They could be anything from bacteria to intelligent life looking out at the stars of the universe that their creator made specifically for them.
