Going out to a nightclub next week. Got a brand new outfit an getting my hair done too. My ex is going so i wanna look nice. Will he notice an think i look nice?

I think you had better be very careful about how you proceed with this. Remember one thing only, there must have been a reason you broke up in the first place.
If it was over 'someone else', then i would assume the likelihood is, it will happen again. Pretty much anything else can/could have been worked out. With the exception of violence, just walk away.
The best course here, would be for you not to attend. I'm assuming he will be with friends. These guys will be there for one thing only, 'birding'. The object of your desire will be too. If he likes/loves you too, he will keep this in mind and not pick another girl up. If you are not the one for him, you could end up looking very foolish indeed. And heartbroken.
Why not wait a few days, if he wants you he will call you.

Never attempt to look nice for your ex - look good for yourself and to bag yourself someone! Breaking up with anybody is a terrible ordeal, but do not make it worse on yourself by attempting to dazzle this man with a new dress and hair do; use this new uniform to show him that you are moving on to better places and better people.

If your ex is there, then enjoy yourself more, make sure you look great, make sure you dance with other guys, he is your ex now, you need to move on, and if he gets jealous then you know he still has feelings for you, but please enjoy your night out for yourself and not because he is there.

forget him he is your ex for a reason. if i was you id pull a guy infront of him to annoy the hell out of your ex.
if you act happy that you arent with him this'll confuse him and get his attention more
