Levyrat's Sonnet #1

I have lived in the hills of Arkansas
Far away from the lights of the city
I have hunted wild possum in Wattensaw
I was too poor for steak, what a pity.

On a farm in Virginia I once dwelt
Close acquaintance to ponies and cattle
But the way that the farm women's hair smelt
Made the art of romancing a battle.

And I've lived in the breast of the big town
Of Los Angeles and Albuquerque
Like my other homes they oft brought me down
And they left me with tastes no doubt quirky.

So I speak from hard learning, not malice
When I say no place sucks quite like Dallas.

right here is an English/Shakesperian Sonnet via William Shakespeare SONNET 18 Shall I learn thee to a summer time's day? Thou artwork extra stunning and extra temperate: tough winds do shake the darling buds of would, And summer time's lease hath all too short a date: sometime too warm the attention of heaven shines, and usually is his gold complexion dimm'd; and each common from common sometime declines, by probability or nature's changing course untrimm'd; yet thy eternal summer time shall no longer fade Nor lose possession of that common thou owest; Nor shall dying brag thou wander'st in his colour, whilst in eternal strains to time thou growest: see you later as men can breathe or eyes can see, see you later lives this and this can provide existence to thee. those sort of sonnet's rhyme scheme pass abab cdcd efef gg and are written in Iambic pentameter. 10 syllables in each and each line the place the syllables pass unstressed/under pressure.
