If your really worried to your baby sister or nurse in your area or even a Dr to give you advice. It really depends on the weight of the the birth of the baby. I had large babies and there for there weight was larger amount for there age.

think about it this way, are you the same weight as your cousin, chances are that you are not. At the pediatricians office, ask for a growth chart, your child should be somewhere within the curve. Children have different metabolisms and body structures. As long as you are not starving your child, it is not a problem. Also you should be starting to feed your baby food besides formula or breastmilk and that will increase the weight. If your pediatrician has not shown any concern, don't worry about it, i am sure your baby is as healthy as any other.

Fat is not synonymous with health in babies...where did you learn that? There are no "normal" babies each one is an individual and will grow and develop at their own pace. Quit trying to compete with your cousin. By the way fat is synonymous with obesity. .

It depends on their feeding too. You may be breastfeeding but your cousins baby may be being bottlefed. This is because bottle milk is pure food, whereas breastmilk is food and drink) People say that about my baby too but my maternal health nurse said she's totally fine!! (I'm breastfeeding)
