We use Pounds, sometimes called Sterling. There are one hundred Pence in a Pound.

seriously, I am the typical American and even I know that. lol. It is the Euro right........ Just kidding. The pound, sometimes called sterling, sometimes called a quid. It has cool pictures of the Queen on them. Just kiddng there not that cool fo pictures. I do wish us Americans would make more use of our dollar coins like you Brits do with your pounds
