I was at a party with my mother in law and she starts acting silly and dancing. When I came into the room, she calls out to me,"Come dance with me!",noone else was dancing and I dont dance in front of people so I laughed and said, "no,I dont cant dance"She goes,"YOU ,cant dance?"and makes this face like I'm full of it...I said,"Why would you think I can dance?" and she's like"gimme a break!".Everyone knew what she was implying ,there were even a couple people who covered their faces embarassed, not wanting to look at what was going on.....this was obviously a racist moment. I lkept it light, laughed her off and left the room. What should I have said back to her comments?................................By the way, this was not a Mel Gibson;she was completely sober and aware of her words and expressions.
