My boyfriend and I broke up after 4.5 years about 2.5 months ago. We have remained fantastic friends and have been going thru all the motions at similar times and have helped each other thru out. But a week ago he kissed another girl and wouldnt talk to me for 3 days, I had no idea why he wouldnt talk to me until he told me. He said that he felt REALLY guilty.
Yes it hurts because I feel he is moving on and I felt like that too, but now i seem to be going backwards as he is going forwards.
Its not that he kissed her that hurts, its knowing the steps before hand, the drink buying, the flirting, his smile and then finally that milli seconds before the kiss. THATS what hurts.
In the 2 times they have caught up she has spilled her entire life story, I dont want him to get bogged down with that soooo soon either.
I guess I know my place will be taken sometime soon and that hurst too.. how do I deal with this and not feel so anxious and ill??
Please help me.

Spend time with people you trust and let them know how you feel. It is natural (the way you're feeling) so just take your time and be with your friends. In time things will improve- but it's a slow process.

Let him go. Spend time away from him. You have a lot of history together and as per now you just cannot be only good friends. You both still feel like you are dating and that's why he felt guilty about kissing another girl. As long as the two of you still spend a lot of time together, you will not move on and still hold onto each other.

Apparently he has became part of your life and your attachment to him remains strong. However from what he did (and in your presence) it can implied that he treated the relationship with you lightly and hypothetically he maybe enjoying this while he sees you being hurt in the process. You should move on and not get blogged down, forget about the past, move on, join a social club and you might meet the right guy for you.

Don't dwell on it. You guys broke up for a reason and you should both move on...Guys however seem to move on faster than girls.
He sould not feel guilty about kissing someone else unless he regrets the fact they you broke up. If you still wanna remain friends then you need to give him the space to move on and be there as his friend..I hope this helps

Dear innocent lady , why you need to be troubled your self again , once should enough for you to be more cautious in your dealings , specially with whom you had a bitter experience . My suggestion to u is just vanished from his sight and restart searching some another to live happily forever . Good luck .

You have to start going out and seeing other people. Go for parties and movies, invite some friends over and have a gala time, try not to stay alone and ponder over this guy, keep your mind occupied with other things.

Don't waste time on the door which is being closed for you. Go and see the door being opened up for you. A Cheat will always be a CHEAT.
