In my opinion they should join the EU. Two objections have been put forward against their joining the EU. First is about certain reforms which they are prepared to carry out. Second is that they will be the only muslim state in christian EU. This objection doesn't hold much ground as it is against the very essence of Secularism.

Why not ? They are humans same as Europeans . Every country even in Europe has its own problem so why 2 judge Turkey with inferiority regarding 2 her problems ??!!! who doesn't have problems?
