if not is the body released to the families or buried in a place of shame?

they're only buried on prison grounds if the family is unknown or refuses to accept them. Prisoners are not shamed after death, because it's no longer our place to judge them. Their bodies are treated with the same care and respect as any other deceased person.

They release the body into a canal that sends them down to the chocolate river where they reach the brown caves of scund. This is where the centaur slowly eats a corn dog and tells you what a good job you have done.

The people in prison have butt sex as they watch the diers float down stream. Then if the live people in prison want a steak, they eat the centaur's poopooo.

Unless the family has otherwise made arrangements, they are either buried either at the prison graveyard or at a potter's field, or wherever the local county buries indigents.

i work for the department of corrections in the state of wisconsin. the body is either given to a family member or the body is buried in a local cemetary.

If someone wants the body they can have it buried where they want.

I guess if there is no family to claim them then they are 'wards of the state' so yes, they would be - if there is a cemetary at the prison that is!

If they are indigent they do have prison burial grounds at some facilities but it really depends on the State!!!!
