truth and only but the truth

The responsabilities of a journalist is telling the truth, first of all.
It is hard nowadays to recognize the fact from the stuff they tell us thst isn't true. Another big responsability that a journalist has is to keep high the attention of the poeple, because alot of people have decided they're not going to watch the news anymore. A journalist doesn't have any other responsabilities because they are people like us! They don't need to be neutral, they can have their own opinions, but they've got to say when something is an opinion, not a fact!

If a journalist should give priority to report a news is "truthfulness" the news will be responsible to the society. Here "truth" is the main indicator of the all factors relating to the news. But journalist might have his own point of view and style.

Journalists should report the truth and try and find out the truth in whatever story they are tackling. However too many are biased and affected by outside influences. The great journalists are those who tread their own path, report on what they see and hear and give the world stories we would not know about if it were not for them. They can make a huge difference; for instance, Michael Buerk's report on Africa was seen by millions, including Bob Geldof, and from that came Band Aid and then Live Aid. This global concert virtuially spawned today's charity concerts and events such as Comic Relief.
