If McCain wins the presidency in 2008, will he be too old, and not mentally and/or physically unfit, to carry out his duties? Could he pass away during his term? I hope not!

McCain will be 72 in '08. Bob Dole was 73 when he ran in '96, and Reagan was 69 when he took office. McCain has showed no signs of mental unfitness.

If he can withstand two years in a POW camp while being tortured - turn down an early release that was offered to him because his mates weren't being released as well, and then do 5 more years - I think he will do just fine sitting in the oval office with all the medical care in the world at his fingertips.

Nah, Reagan was drooling and pooping in his pants for most of his second term and we survived that. Bush was born brain dead and....well, we will see if we survive that.

I think he has health issues that will keep him out of the race.
