mine lasts 4 to 7 days no 2 wks isn't very normal speak to your Dr about this has it just happened or always happened???

Up to a week is normal. two weeks isn't normal. but are you sure it's really lasting that long or do you just need to shower? It's fine to have a heavy flow for a week. It should be tapered off by the end of the week. Is it just light dry stuff in the 2nd week? cuz that is fine. If it is still heavy on the second week then go see a doctor to make sure everything is okay. If you have heavier, longer, flows then you are probably more fertile and just have a strong healthy lining in the woum. How do you spell woom? If it always lasts the same amount of time and it's regular, then it's a good sign. but see a doctor anyway.

Most run 2-3 days and some 4-7 commonly. Some are a little longer but then you run the risk of becoming anemic so you do need to see a doctor. He may find something is wrong or he may want to put you on a pill to make it stop sooner or on iron to keep you healthy and prevent anemia (low iron). Anemia can make you very tired and ill or in some cases worse. You DO need to see a doctor and never forget that if you disagree or even question what he or she says, a second opinion is always a safeguard.

Having a period for over 2 weeks is not normal and you should get this checked at the doctor.
Your periods do change and become more heavier after the age of appx 35 some people are older when this happens. You should get it checked no matter how old you are.

No, that is tooooooo long. Up to a week would be normal. See your GP. Best thing to do is wear pads for the first 2 or 3 days of your period. They allow it to flow from your body. Don't use tampons in the first few days, as they just hold it all in longer.

mine is about 7 days, but the last 2-3 are lighter or just spotting. Plus I always get a 12 hour break with absolutely no discharge somewhere in the heavy time

Mine is takes 3 awful days, but 2 weeks ,oh my god

mine lasts 3-4 sometimes 5 days not that it is any of your buisness! if you are worried just go see the doc!

mine lasts for 7 days exact...but 14 days is too long i think u should consult a doctor because it is not good to lose a lot of blood..it could make you anaemic.
