Will bring up your DOS Prompt
But many/Most commands can be run from the Run Prompt.

start...run...ytpe either cmd or command and click ok. Though both of the commands open differnet command prompts, usually both are ok for normal work.

you should have 'run' in your start menu. click on it and type in cmd. that will give you your command window.
