Yes! I keep my own "who was really the MVP" list and he won this year. Kobe and LA actually made this a lot harder than it needed to be. If LA would have won 55 game, Kobe would have easily won it, but you can't give the MVP trophey to some one only winning 50% of their game and fighting to make the playoffs. I that was the case, Iverson would have about 3.
No one could have guessed Dallas would be flirting with the best record in the league. The whole franchise was on Dirk's back and he never gave way. The entire year everybody was waiting for San Antonio to open up and win the division but it never happened. Dallas and Dirk just kept winning.
Nowitzki should have won MVP, and the funny thing about it, is that I thought LeBron was 2nd and Nash was 3rd.

I feel like yeah Nash did a good job getting the MVP this year but still question if he deserved... so from my point of view make way for Wade hes going to b the 1 hu deseves it most '07

no, no doubt hes the best 3pt shooter in a 7foot body
he didnt displayed trademarks of a mvp during the finals vs heats
he wasnt stepping up his game either
a mvp shld be the player the team can rely on when in crisis
as for nash hes good but pg shldnt be mvp
something is seriously wrong with a team if the pg gets it
no offense i am a PG myself

Hahah...dik nowitzki...hahah.

Nah there's a real small chance Dirk can beat out EVERYONE out there: Kobe, LeBron, D-Wade, Nash, Duncan, KG, T-Mac...

He is a good player. They came much closer last year to winning the title than I ever expected. He is a great scorer, but if he plays defense I must have missed seeing something. It could happen he wins the MVP award, but other than scoring, his game is not very complete.

KOBE BRYANT HAS NEVER BEEN MVP. What a Joke, i find that ridiculous, forget about dirk. KB24 is undoubtly the best player in the NBA and a future hall of famer, and he has never been MVP.

not really..
he hasnt shown the world how incredible he can be..
scoring 50 in one game and beating another team doesnt really make him an MVP..

I think so he is an all around big guy that can do it all. But until they win a championship it is likely that he will be overshadowed by the other big names.
