My husband had a vasectomy about 5 years ago. He went to all of the after tests that they need to do, and got the all-clear that it had worked. After having symptoms for weeks now, I decided to take a pregnancy test tonight. It came back postive. We couldn't believe it. (I recently started a new medication that can cause fatigue, dizziness, weakness, and nausea, so I was attributing most of the side effects to that.) I took two more tests, both came back positive. I will call my dr. on Monday, but these tests have always been reliable in the past; I have three kids. My husband was actually ARGUING with me, basically saying it was impossible to get me pregnant bc he's had this operation. I looked on the PP site and although it says it is "almost 100% effective," it didn't say 100! He also said it could be "psycho-symatic," as if I could PRODUCE the pregnany hormone by wanting another baby. I have NOT been with anyone else and know my husband knows this, we are both just in shock. Help!

Now don't listen to him
when you go to your appointment at the doc please take him with you
It seems that the doc that did his operation did not inform him of all of the possibilities
you husband need to know that he is not the first and certainly not the last this has happen to do
Good Luck with your miracle baby

Infertility is a problem that a lot of women face everyday. You are not alone and the good news is that you can solve this problem.

If you have problems to get pregnant you can check this method http://get-pregnant.keysolve.net

It is a great method that helps to solve naturally infertility problems and it has already been tested by a lot of people with great results.
I definitely reccomend it and i'm sure that will help you! Anyway don't stress over it, stress can make it harder to get pregnant for most women.
Just remember that ovulating occurs about two weeks before your period, if you have a regular cycle. There are also some things you can do to help determine whether you are close to, ovulating, or not close.
Online there are sites that will tell you the best tips to get pregnant faster.

You can get pregnant in less than a month when trying this http://get-pregnant.keysolve.net

You can also determine when you're ovulating with an ovulating prediction kit, you can buy them at most stores and they are found with the pregnancy tests. You can also buy a basal body temperature thermometer.
There have been many women to succeed with those types of methods. Did you know that it can take up to a year for most couples to conceive a baby, even when they have sex everyday for a year? It's actually normal. Conception isn't quite as easy as people make it out to be. Don't stress because it will happen for you.

If you can be pregnant or if you have infertility problems I reccomend to follow this method http://pregnancy.toptips.org

Many factors can cause a couple trouble in conceiving a baby, I'll list a few of the most common ones in women:
Anorexia or other dietary dysfunctions
Lacking amounts of FSH and LH are produced, so ovaries aren't as functional as they could be, and so not many eggs are produced
Stress, causing periods to become irregular
Medications such as cancer treatments, antidepressants, hormone therapy, pain killers, and antipsychotic drugs can all cause temporary infertility.

With the method that I posted above you will be able to get pregnant!

He needs to go in ans have his sperm count done again. That way he'll see the proof that his vasectomy failed. After that, he needs to have the surgery done again. Since his grew back, you might both want to consider getting fixed to increase your chances of no more pregnancies. Just believe that this baby is comming into your life for a reason, and its a good thing. But get his sperm count done as soon as he can so he'll quit blaming you. Its noone's fault.

I have a friend that was having problems with her period. She had 3 boys and her husband vasectomy. One weekend they were moving and she started hurting really badly and went to the ER. Her husband was out in the waiting room and heard this commotion coming from the ER and nurses talking loudly. They came and and told him his wife was having a baby. He freaked thinking the worst. Immediately they took him and did a sperm count only to find out that he was producing sperm and she did get pregnant by him. He trusted her but they were all curious. She was a rather large woman with problems as I said with her period so she didn't think anything of it. BTW they loved their baby girl after having all those boys. Good luck, I hope you will find joy in this, it was meant to be!

"Post vasectomy fertilization has been recorded. The risk is low and, of course, lower still if you've had negative sperm counts. However, it is possible.

The time to azoospermia (no sperm in the specimen) after a vasectomy varies according to the study, but 10 weeks appears to be typical. The average number of ejaculations to azoospermia are between 25 and 30, but some specimens were not clear until 60 ejaculations.

Renewed patency (pregnancy after vasectomy) can have several causes, such as technical error, early recanalization and residual motile sperm in the seminal vesicle after vasectomy. In the literature, a distinction is made between early and late recanalization. Early recanalization can be detected by an increasingly large amount of motile sperm in the postvasectomy specimen. Late recanalization is the presence of motile sperm after the postvasectomy specimen(s) showed azoospermia. It can occur several years after vasectomy and usually is detected only after a pregnancy has occurred.

Several studies have been done on pregnancy rates after vasectomy. One article reported two pregnancies on a total of 3,178 vasectomized men. In one report, six cases of DNA-proven fatherhood were caused by azoospermic men. The authors explained this phenomenon by the intermittent production of viable sperm.

In a recent article by O'Brien, temporary reappearance of sperm 12 months after vasectomy is described in six cases. Based on the literature, it can be assumed that men with small amounts of nonmotile sperm after vasectomy have a risk (albeit low) of contributing to pregnancy. "

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info
infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).
two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.

If your husband is arguing with you, I suspect he isn't as sure of your fidelity as you assume. To placate him, I would suggest offering to have a paternity test after the child is born.

Face it, with a pregnancy ahead of you, and three kids in the house, you need to patch up any friction between you, so you can both focus on the childs health, as well as your own. The last thing you need is the stress of constant fighting.

Since you know you didn't do anything wrong, it's a win-win, no risk solution!

Its not all that likely if he had a "traditional vasectomy". If he had one of those newer types, like the so called "clip" vasectomy. Those fail all the time. In fact, I heard that the company that made the clips is no longer in business.

I know people who have had kids with a vasectomy, so it's certainly not 100% effective.
