It really funny because Glenn Mcgrath said pretty much that before the last ashes series we all know what happened there. The problem the aussies have got is that if they prepare pitches that are fast and bouncy then England have got bowlers that can capitalise on them and if they prepare pitches that turn alot England have got a couple of bowlers that can use the conditions to thier advantage. Lets remember also England are no longer as intimidated by the aussies as they once were and that England only have to draw to retain the ashes were as Austrailia HAVE to WIN the ashes back, if i were you id save your money and buckle up, its gonna be one helluva ride!!!!
"Oh Hello!!! MASSIVE, MASSIVE!!!!!" Mark Nicholas as Freddie Flintoff puts a 94MPH ball from Brett Lee out of the Ground at Edgbaston

GIven the current lack of consistancy in the England team you would be right to do so. The bookies have had the Aussies as odds on favourites for months.
Lets hope the England team return to fitness to give them a run for their money, and at least aim for a drawn series!

I think it depends on how both teams are playing at the time- the ashes always brings the best out of England even when they have been performing badly before hand. With a more experienced captain and Flintoff back i think England could win it.

ENGLAND have gone backwards since the ashes win
and are missing Vaughn badly.
It will be annoying if they suddenly get that edge back just because its the Aussies after the poor showings since the Ashes win.

I think that you are very very wrong.
I have a good friend in Australia who is a cricket nut, he tells me that the Aussies have become complacent and too far up there own ar ses.
I guess onl y time will tell....I'll take that bet though how does 3 -1 sound.
