I would first recommend improving your English and perhaps enrolling at a University in Australia where you can get a degree in dentistry there. You probably will not be able to practice dentistry in Australia with whatever degree you now have but I'm sure a lot of the course work you did in your native country could transfer over towards a degree in Australia.

Relax, people: it is obvious that English is not this person's first language - and many of those for whom it IS make just as painful spelling and grammatical errors. Spoken language is generally an easier way to communicate than written is, anyhow, so the person who asked the question above doubtless can make himself understood in English effectively ("Open wider, please...." or "You need to brush more often!" are not complex phrases, after all ;) )

And to answer the question itself:

Visa requirements will depend on the country of which you are a native. Australia will also have to make a decision on whether they want you to emigrate/immigrate - but skilled professionals are usually welcome. As has been said already, you will need to find out how much of your education and degrees are valid.

Also, as an ESL teacher, I will strongly recommend that you do continue classes - high-level or specialty vocab in particular - in English, as skilled professionals can not afford to have errors of communication resulting in patient dissatisfaction, or loss of staff, clientele, etc.

Side note: I actually traded ESL lessons for dental work in a Korean clinic - and everyone was happy with the bargain! Of course I got to concentrate on teaching the technical vocabulary which *I* needed them to understand in order to work on me.. (grin)

Good luck!

How in the name of all that is holy did you get through school to become a dentist when you can't even spell or write a proper sentence?
