I am studying composition, trying to find what songs today best demonstrate an understanding of the principle of dynamics as part of the whole composition. I know a whole lot less songs than everyone here together.

Any ideas? Love to hear your suggestions, perhaps myself and my friends can create some even more developed cover versions of your favorite songs. Whatever other songs you can think of I want to work on as well.

depends on each individual's definition of dynamics. your teachers would argue that good!
i strongly suggest you track down a tune by anthrax called, "packaged rebellion". still,to this day,one if my all-time favorites.
the message is that it's so much harder to stick with just being exactly who you are than trying to pull off "a look".
part of the chorus;"i don't want to know how your so driven, i don't want to know your influence." another part';"it doesn't show who i'm tryin' to be,it just shows who i am."
dynamic enough for ya? G.P.
