Kinda like a lot of people wouldn't know that blinded by the light was written by Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan wrote all along the watchtower, because the cover artist literally "made" the song, by taking it and making it better. The Mac version is good, but Santana just rips it up, with that Gypsy Queen ending.

I can't help about the shape I'm in, I can't sing, I ain't pretty, and my legs are thin..... but don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me too....

The responses seem like opinions. The group Santana had the hit, and thus, the more well known version. But theirs was a cover of Fleetwood Macs original. Fleetwood Mac did the original version. Peter Green (and maybe Danny Kirwan & Jeremy Spence) wrote it. I prefer Fleetwood Macs version.
