Despite the anonymity the internet affords its users, people do still feel embarrased to answer such questions. Only the brave will stand up and be counted it would appear!
Anyway, going back to your original question, Some laws or rules that govern socially acceptable behaviour are not written down or governed. People wear clothes to enforce their own, self-imposed and self-regulated parameters of what they believe to be socially acceptable. It is a fact that not everyone has a perfect physique. If we observe imperfections in a person's physique, we normally associate that with imperfections in the person's character. Sad but true. So, by wearing clothes, we disguise our physical defects in the hope that others will appreciate the virtues in our character and intellect than appease their desire or lust for physical perfection.

I live in Hawaii and I can tell you that there are some seriously hot women out here that I wish would run around in the nude.
It's nice and warm. You certainly won't get cold enough to NEED clothing.
Unfortunately... They either don't want men like me getting too excited, they are shy about their hot bodies, don't want to get in trouble with the law or worry about what others would say or think, etc. Fortunately for me... I have a very vivid imagination so it's not a problem. ;)
In my opinion... The majority of people in Hawaii would look great in the nude so I'm all for taking it all off.
However... I noticed that the vast majority of people I saw while visiting Nebraska were not people that I would want to see in the nude. (Not all but most) In the case of Nebraska, I'm very glad they have laws to prevent people who are old or out of shape from exposing themselves to me.
In reality... These things usually just don't work out. I have read that most nudists aren't much to look at. Unfortunately... The young and physically fit hotties who you wish were in to that sort of thing just aren't.
The best place to start is in your own home. Start by telling all your guests that your apartment is now clothing optional. "Clothing Optional" signs and artistic photos of nude people on the walls might also help to remind people that it is socially acceptable to be nude around you. Then lead by example and start spending more time in the nude.
If you are a twenty something, physically fit woman... Please feel free to send me a photo of yourself in the nude. Otherwise... please keep it to yourself. ;)

I assume your asking how come humans started wearing clothes in the first place.
It started for the obvious practical reason of keeping warm.
A caveman dressed in furs will be more comfortable than a caveman stark naked.
Our ancestors were clothed for so many years it has become the social norm for all of us.That's all.

If you feel wearing clothes are cumbersome, there are nudist colonies you could go to. Or you could go to Africa, where in some places, it okay to go topless but legs must be covered. Or better still, earn a lot of money, buy an island and go live in the raw.
