No, because people without eye sight too dream. This becomes possible as in dreams the images are directly formed in the brain without the help of the eyes.

We dream (normally at night) when we are in a deep sleep. According to some psychology books that I have read dreams are "offshot" of our activities during waking hours (during the day). The "eye" that you are talking about is our "memory" (the brain) when we retain (remember) the dream right on the moment we are back into our consciousness ("conscious mind"). It settles into our consciousness and thus, we dream...
Keep on dreaming man and pursue it positively.

yes, we need eyes to see dreams. Because, our brains keep images received through eyes in memory cells. Recalling them unconsciously during our sleep and remembering them again in our waking state is perhaps defined as a dream.

For blind people that way since birth they have intense "move" sensations, tastes and smells but nothing visual. A person blind after birth still sees in their dreams. But whether we "need" them to see or if it is just the release of electrical energy that has been resolved in scientific experiments that show that they can "make" you see by touching parts of the brain.

You dont need eyes in the physical sense to see dreams. But a "vision".It more perceptive than receptive.YOu would be amazed at he contributions "blind " people have made to othe world.Helen Keller as an an example.
You would also be amazed at how many people with physical "sight" have no vision. They go about aimlessly; without goals or purpose in the their life.

I would think so. A dream would be using the images we have "seen" and collected in our minds over time. I guess a blind person would dream the impressions of things they smell or hear??
