I have to create a business plan for my class, so the more accurate the information, the more helpful it will be. For instance, exactly how much money does it take to be allowed to show the movie? Copyrights, etc. I am not looking for what I have to pay for, but how much it costs. Such as the average costs to build one theater would be x amount of dollars. Or if a ticket costs $9, 7 goes to some legal entity and the other 2 goes to the theater, etc. Like from the profits made where does the money go? Obviously I am trying to find people who know people or who are the people who run movie theaters. Thank you everyone for your help! It is really appreciated!

showing the film is paid by the distributors. other costs include building and the accessories in the theater - studio grill, bar, video games, concessions, valet parking, land, etc. the profit made from the films depends on how much the film makes at that theater.
Good luck with the project. hope this gets you started.

Why not search for the answers rather than someone else do it for you?

What will you learn if others do your work?

cost considerations are: acquiring the commercial property from the city, construction, permits, licenses, payroll, insurance, maintenance, vendors, security.
Then there's billing like: electrical, sewer, waste disposal including possibly hazmat, water, phone, internet.
