i thought boyz in the hood was much better. it was smarter and at times menace II society glorified the violence. boyz examined the african american community in LA. Menace just looked for realistic violence. people like menace more because it was more violent and more cursing when you shouldn't praise a movie for that. boyz had a better script and message overall
