what made man to dominate society to such a great extent that females have no say?

Women have a lot to say!! In fact some ladies help our priest pass the wine and the bread!! Just like Christ, he had women, helping him, when he was on earth!!!

Do not blame all the religions. Of course, there are almost all the religion which forbids women from advancement.
Islam does not forbid the advancement of women in society. But the society forbids. Hence, society is to be blamed, not the religion.
Islam is the only true religion and accepted way of life to Allah, the Creator, sustainer and cherisher of this universe.

This is not true in Sanathana Dharma (broadly termed as Hinduism). In fact, total power (SHAKTHI), is with women. Only, the male members help in praying them Seeing this other religions may have tried to, degrade women.

By all means woman is the real pillar of the society BUT woman herself is responsible for her secondary status in the society, because of their jealousy against one another. They should not blame men for their state of affairs as it is self inflicted status by them!
