This is going to sound stupid but I'll say it anyway. I keep getting the feeling that I'm going to get pregnant, even though I've had my tubes tied (been pregnant 4 times, had three kids and one m/c). Ladies who've been pregnant, you know what I mean. Is it even a valid worry? It's not even been a year since I had the surgery.

Hmm, maybe there is a way to tell. I figured it just did but maybe I will ask. Because seriously... it has been bothering me a lot. It seems so irrational and yet, I can't shake it. I only started worrying about it recently. I have always had a... like a "feeling" about each of my pregnancies before I found out and that's what is worrying me, I guess.

Melissa, I also knew what sex my kids would be, too and even what they'd look like. I have two blonde, light-eyed girls and one dark haired, dark-eyed boy. You all are right about the extra contraceptive precautions. My husband has an appointment with a urologist on Sept. 18th for a consultation to get a vasectomy. I just hope it's not too late, lol. If I get pregnant after that, well... I give up. Lol.

Like you, I have always had a very strong intuition, not actually that I was going to get pregnant, but as soon as I got pregnant, I knew it, and could sense the sex of my three kids, as well. If you don't want another baby, I would add another form of contraception and see your dr. to make sure your tubes are still tied. It was weird to read this question b/c I just posted to the pregnancy board that I took three pregnancy tests tonight and they are all positive. My husband had a vasectomy 5 years ago. It is a huge shock and although I need to have my dr. validate it, I know in my heart it's true. Nothing is foolproof except abstinence, unfortunately! Good luck to you.

I wasnt really trying to get pregnant when I conceived for the first time. But I remember I could feel something inside my tummy (felt good) and a slight backache. That feeling still comes back to me I start counting when I has my last period. I never get hyper about it though.

Sorry I'm no help. My tubal was scheduled but when I had my twins I had to have a differnt dr deliever (c-section) and he wouldn't do it right then. Talk to your dr isn't there a way to tell if the tubal took?

Think of it this way. IF you get pregnant you will get a lot of money from your physician.
