Honestly, even if I'm not a fan of Lionel Messi,I would still think that he is way much better that Lukas Podolski. That's what I think and it is just my opinion. What about yours?? Who is better?? To me,Zizou and Leo rock!!!

What a pity that a shining star like Leo was not given much chance to play in the recent WC.It's not his fault though.I still think that he has a great potential to become one of the best football player in the world!!

Hmm..just because Podolski was named as the best young player,I don't think that means he is better than Leo..besides,Leo was not given much chance to play..it's not Leo's fault..

Yes, I totally agree with u. Messi is much better than Podolski even though I like them both. Podolski packs a lot of power in his shots but many of them fail to find the back of the net. Messi is definetely technically superior to Podolski whoi by no means is bad but still not as good as Leo. And I think Podolski got best young player bcoz Podolski got a bettr chance to display his talents as he played more matches(thanx to Klinsmann)than poor Messi who thanx to stupid Jose Pekerman had to sit out of most matches. Untapped talent, that's what it is. I am sure if Argentina had played a little bettr and Messi had been given more opportunities then definetely Messi would have won the best young player award

Well, Messi is still 19 but he's a got a lot of talent and potential to become a very good player. I think he's better than Podolski, because he's got sth that Poldi hasn't like good dribbling, much speed and a more precise passing. He also takes the ball from behind and goes forward, while Poldi is more static in attack, but don't get me wrong Podolski is a good striker as well, but I think Messi is better, although I don't like any of those 2 in particular.

PODOLSKI I AGREE i has a good shot power he young lethal quick, dangerous years from now he could be considered the most lethal striker in the world! lionel messi is good as well he could devleope to become the next great! But messi is a foward and podolski is a striker, messi initiates attacks from the side podolski is always looking to score goals.

I think podolski is better, at least he was on this World Cup... maybe because Messi didn't have a chance to play a lot, but I still think Podolski is better.
