Capture it in a jar and take it to the pest control or to the local college to the entomologist dept. and they will find out. Is it a Banana spider? Any spider with colors like that sounds dangerous. Lately I have seen some scary ones here too, believe they came in by train or shipped in from somewhere else.Last night I found one on the house and again tonight, but last night's was as large as a half dollar, and very hardy, and hairy!!!!

It sounds like the yellow sack spider whose bite is painful but not deadly.

No one will be able to answer that question. Take the specimen to a pest control centre, they will be able to tell you exactly what it is!

Is that what it looks like? (Source list)
If it does, it's a Brown Recluse.
Run like hell if you see one. Their bite will literally melt your flesh away.
