My RA at college said that he had to move my roomate away from fans that these other people put him in front of. He said that he could've died. How could that happen.

I have heard of dying from alcohol.. but not fans.. were they drunk when they said this?

You can definitely die from drinking too much but I don't think the fan has anything to do with it.
