Is there such a product which will remove old motor oil from tarmac without damaging the tarmac?

The tarmac colour is pink, and the oil is obviously black.

Gunk - bad idea..
I found the tarmac started to melt.
I had to grab a hosepipe quickly and wash down the area thoughly.
A river of pink dye from the gunked tarmac driveway was flowing down the road and this kept washing out even after rinsing for 20 minutes.

Soneone has told me about biological 'oil eating enzymes' - which are used by oil industry to digest oil spillages.

Does anyone know where to get them? are they safe?

What the hell do you have pink tarmac for? As for the answer, I also have used gunk, but it might stain your pink. Sand is not effective, only for getting the top stuff off. dry cmt might work. Some one told me once that strong grease cutting formula washing up liquid has some effect. Honestly I don't think it will matter what you use your pink will always be off colour now.

I have used talcum powder, flour or cement powder wih good effect although black on pick, it will never be perfect, rub the pwder in with your feet and allow to stand as long as you can, then brush off, then wash off

Yes.
Ask the Fire Brigade they do it daily.
There are sands and sawdust that are sold somewhere but a trip to your local F.B. would be quicker.
