Bt Broadband are very helpful ( NOT!! ). They have a page full of phone numbers of other companies , so that you can get a mac code from the other companies, so that you can change to btm but when I phoned BT last night , i was put on hold for 32 minutes, then when finally answered they hung up on me.

You need to speak to the Broadband Customer Options Team which are on 0800 800 030. They are answering now with no wait!

I had the same problem when I was changing mine. You will have to persevere and keep phoning them until you get one. It took me two weeks to get mine they are so slow at doing anything. I phoned them on a daily basis till I think they got fed up of me.
Bet if it were the other way round and they wanted your money you wouldnt get held up like that. They are pretty fast at that.
