there is this boy who every once in a while hangs out with my friend who i hang with. he puts his backpack next to my friend's which is right next to me cuz i dont eat lunch. so when he finishes his lunch he goes and buys a coke from the vending machine (the machines are in the same room where i sit and wait for my friend to finish lunch)and he puts it in his backpack. i know i dont like him but every time he's around i get nervous and watch what i say and do. i want to say that its just because im not used to him and i dont feel comfortable around people i dont know but im not too sure that that is the case. why do i feel this way and what do i do?

Your conscious mind is denying it, but your unconscious mind is actually forcing you to accept your feelings for him - that's why you voluntarily watch what you say or do when you are with him.
You just can't say that you don't want him, because the truth is, you really want him.

Because you are putting up defenses. You want to give this guy a chance but you are afraid to open up. You need to take a leap of faith and let him get to know you. Trust yourself.

oh, maybe this is beacause you want him to like you, or notice you more. maybe you actually do like him.
