Well I think that you need to look at it different than how you are seeing it! You said she had mental problems and can't deal with stress! That is your answer, perhaps she doesn't have the listening and compassion you do! I think I would look at this as an emotional handicap and get someone who is more healthy to be a friend with. As for her not wanting to be friends, I wouldn't argue the point sounds like you we're the real friend! I would start putting the effort into yourself and remember the good things about her and move on!Good luck!

It could be her mental illness that she is suffering. Needless to say right now it sounds like you need someone to talk to for a good listening ear - I would concentrate on what you are going through right now. I am sorry about your friend and hope that is seeking help that she needs. However with that said, if she didn't have a mental illness I would tell you - no that isn't a friend. But you also need to rethink in your heart is this something you want to continue forward in. You know for the rest of your life that she will be suffering from - and you will be taken down her path. My husband's sister is bi-polar, and its a really hard path at times to be around

That's just not fair. You've been there for her, she should do the same for you. On the other hand, though, she may be going through some really hard times, and additional stress might really get to her right now.

I would say, she's probably doing you a favor. She has mental problems. And obviously not a very responsible person. Thus she's really not one I'd wish to have for a friend. Nor would I take it personally, if I were you.

she may be just going through a tough time, give her some space. It may be best if you wait a little bit before confronting her. This will give you both, time to think things over.

i don't think i'm Bi-Polar. I'm sorry to hear about your friend. If i were you'd just tell her that when she's ready to talk about anything that you're there for her, but for now don't talk to her about your problems talk to another friend or family member. Just let her know that you're there for her && that you care, && then in time maybe she'll come to you.

good luck.

SHE SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF ALL THE TIMES YOU CAME THROUGH FOR HER. YES, SHE HAS PROBLEMS, BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE HERE LATELY IT'S BEEN ALLL ABOUT HER. SHE HAS MENTAL PROBLEMS, BUT THAT CAN'T BE THE EXCUSE FOR HER BLOWING YOU OFF.
