The last episode of the young& the restless showed Victor Newman with a gun and hearing voices following his problems with epilepsy. His wife Nikki is at the door and the man is so confused... I know it is a soap but those things could happen, couldn't they. It is difficult for me to watch this because I had a seizure once but I am all right now with medication, so it makes me realize how blessed I am not to have turned out like that. I believe the writers want to make people aware of this health problem. What do you think?...CBS. on monday (daytime)

Nahhh....I have a rare form of epilepsy and once went for over a year having 20+ seizures a day and this stuff NEVER happened to me.
Confusion? You bet! But to the point of pulling a gun? Firstly, the gun would have to be very accesible for you to 'wake up' with it in your hand, and secondly, when you do come out of most seizures you're too tired to even lift a hand.
If anything could cause you to do that it would be the MEDICATION! That's where you need to be careful. The crap they give you.
Can I suggest that if you're on tegretol, valproic acid or even dilantin, give it up and get yourself some 'NEURONTIN', also know as 'GABAPENTIN'. Works beautifully and virtually zero side effects.
Only stuff that completely controls my seizures without leaving me drooling.
As far as the Newmans? They're getting way too old for the show and the writers are desperate for story lines. ignore that crap.

There are several types of epilepsy.Severe forms of epilepsy cause hallucinations and false feelings of enlightment.Do some research on the internet.
