Does bacterial activity increase in any way during a solar eclipse?

Short term, sure. After all, humans who are life, do travel to see solar eclipses. If you've ever been in a solar eclipse, you know that the wildlife in the area is affected -- normal daytime birds get quiet and nightlife like crickets may start to stir. But long term there's no effect. Lunar eclipses aren't that big a deal -- after all unless you happen to look up you won't even notice them -- and solar eclipses are so short and infrequent they just don't have any real effect on the energy input, etc.

Yeah Solar Eclipses do....For one they are very harmful for the eye....So people avoid going out.....Plus birds and animals start leaving assuming it is night time.....
