i'm due now for my period one week ago i had brownish pink spotting once or twice just a little on toilet papaer none on panty liner i asumed it was my period i did have intercourse on my fertile day which was 25th of august and my period is due today i took a home pregnancy test today it came out neg. did i take it to soon?what day should i re-take it if period still hasn't came.my breast starting feeling sore today so i took the test please help me figure out what that spotting was last week and if i tested to early since i would have ovulated on aug.25 or so.thanks

In my personal experience my pregnancy test didn't ready positive until I was two months pregnant. I had some spotting before i found out i was pregnant. I would wait one to two weeks and take another test if you don't start your period.

If you are a week late, you can take a pregnancy test. That's about when you should be able to tell because it would make you about 5 weeks pregnant. Good luck!

I HAD SPOTTING LIKE THAT BEFORE I KNEW I WAS PREGNANT I ALSO HAD 3 NEG TESTS BEFORE I FOUND OUT AND BY THEN I WAS 9WEEKS. WAIT A FEW DAY AND TRY AGAIN.IF ITS STILL NEG AND NO PERIOD GO TO THE DOCTOR FOR BLOOD TEST.

all u can do is wait longer yes u took it too soon give it some time and the cheep doler store ones arn't very accurate it sed i was pregnet but i wasn't it scared me so bad so get an expensive one and wait for a while longer

Wait a week,if your period still doesn't show,retest yourself and make an appointment with your doctor.

take the test with first morning urine. and test again but it may be too early. You can go get blood work done and it will usually show up.

unfortunately, all you can do it wait.. for either your period to start and if it doesn't.. you should take another test.. have you recently started birth control.. that sometimes messes with your cycle.
