Australian Idol is like the million other Idol shows that are franchised in each country. The original concept being Pop Idol in the UK.

I think Dean Geyer will win Australian IDOL!!! YAY hes so gorgeous. Although i have to admit that the standards are very high this year!
A message to hpooter4ever the american girl. Idol wasnt even originated in America. I mean not evrything is! it was originated in england! duh

I live in America, never seen Australian Idol. I didn't even know there was an Australian Idol.

I live in France. We don't have 'Australian Idol' but the equivalent. It's pretty cool.

Gee...who will i pick to be a star for 20min.....WHY the hell would anyone watch a formulaic(?) show just to get ratings and sell airspace on commercial tv when you could be exercising or fixing/restoring cars or picking the lint from my nether regions????
turn OFF the tube and get a life!!!
