Evolution in the sense of "improvement" of a species as driven by environmental forces (e.g., develop sweat glands to deal better with heat or develop the ability to stand up on the hind legs to search for food and predators better) may have stopped or even reversed in human beings.
Think about it. 20,000 years ago, if there was a disease, the survivors had a resistance and reproduced. The disease had reduced impact until nobody was seriously impacted (at least before they could reproduce). Now, if there is a disease we make a medicine. The medicine is given to those most impacted by the disease thereby helping those people reproduce. So no innate "improvement" in the people due to the environmental factor.
Same thing for bad teeth, poor eyesight, low intelligence, etc. Society corrects for these conditions (or compensates) and there is a gradual decline in the species. The average person today, even with survival training, would not fare as well in the world of 20,000 years ago as the denizens of that era.
Of course, this might be interpreted as humans, as a group rather than individuals, evolving.

Evolution, this is a masive information of how men kind apear to be form on earth with no real consept at all, just to start...
... Did you ever see how an orage is made?, first take the skin out, then there is a litlle second skin that covers the orange, then is form in capsuls that all tugeter foms a little boll, and iside this capsuls there is more capsuls but very very very small, and iside this very very very small capsuls is the juce and the vitamins and all the orange have....
... So did all this ditail came by creation or evolution, because it looks to perfect to me for it to come out of evolution,
a lot of people belives that the earth came after a big explotion and all living thing on earth was form after for the minerals and bla bla bla bla, do you think something so perfect like the earth will come like this? it does not make sence right?, it definitly have to be frome someone who create it, and create it perfect, and thats God on all hes power.

From the religious view NO. According to religious texts Adam was the first man on the earth. and he was created a man not an ape, but the study of prehistoric human shows that they didnt look like the modern man, even the way they ate, move and hold the things was diffrent.I still believe that man was born a man not an ape.As a matter of fact the apes living in zoos or parks now, will not move to flats and they will not ask and answer in YAHOO ANSWERS. ;)

Although physical evolution has stopped from human forms and not from apes, but mental and psychological evolution is still in the process.

Evolution never stops. In life, change is the only constant, although we who are here now will never see what changes occur in the human race. It is very likely that we have stopped seeing the kind of changes in ourselves that marked the development of earlier mankind. I believe this to be due to the way we live. We dont have to adapt to survive, we have things that do it for us. To my knowledge, which i will say isnt very vast, we will never have the type of conditions pressed upon us that our ancestors did which made them evolve in the ways that they did. I believe that evolution is a combination of a naturally occuring change in a species and an event in that species habitat which forces it to change or die. These two taken in combination will force a species to expand itself in which ever way is needed. I really dont believe that we will have that sort of need to adapt so therefore, while evolution never stops, we will never see the kinds of changes in ourselves that have marked history.

Evolution has not stopped and never will. But we're slowing it down a bit. We allow and encourage everyone to breed whereas in the animal kingdom only the fittest survive. But none the less we're evolving. Darwin was exactly right.

No, evolution is still taking place...for example, 500 years ago, the average height of a man was 5'4", and now it's 5'8". Evolution is just really difficult to measure in the time frame you're used to thinking in. It takes a LOOONNG time, like geologic time, for any major changes to happen.

It keeps going, actually. Growth in physical stature can be attributed to diet. But scientists estimate that the average IQ of humans increases by about 3-5 points with every generation.

Its amazing that people still think there's no proof of Darwin's theory. The fossils have long since shown the slow change in humans from the distant past. Homo sapiens coming from homoerectus and the other hominids coming out of Africa... It just amazes me what a blind eye people have. Slowly but surely ,we (the humans) are getting rid of our 'uneeded' body parts, eg. tail bones, appendixes, etc.
