Go to event viewer and see what error you are getting...
start>>control panel>>administrative tools>>event viewer>>check application and system errors to see what error you are getting..double click to open..There will be a link given...follow the link and it will give more info on the cause and possible solutions.....

Chances are you have downloaded something. Malware, virus, etc...Download Update and run spybot search and destroy and adaware...Also do an online virus and trojan scan...Links below...

*Note: System restore will not fix your problem if it is a virus. A reinstall would but this is a last resort solution only. There are many ways to clean your computer. If the scans don't help I would recommend going to a good forum site for help.

It definately sounds like you might have a virus. Normally if you run a complete virus scan it will clear it up by itself. If you cant do that then you might want to restore your system. There should have been a cd that came with your computer that says something like Windows Restore or something like that. THe system restore CD will wipe out what you have on your computer and set it back to the settings of when you furst baught your lap top. Make sure you back up all your files before you do this cause once you restore your computer all files will be lost. I hope this works :-).

1. Backup files
2. Format hard drive
3. Reinstall operating system
4. Install system drivers (if needed)

This should fix your problem and any other annoyances.
