It's true. Many people are being held without charges being filed within a reasonable time frame (some since 9/11). They have not had any type of legal representation at all. Not all of these are terrorists and have no ability to defend themselves.

I would like to hear some alternative measures to what ever he is referring to. This is a broad statement and deserves some clarification. It is easy to criticize but very hard to roll up you sleeves and actually do something. I am not denying bad things happen but if this guy has any real answers I am sure lots of people would listen. Really bad things are happening in the world right at this moment and these idiots do nothing. Instead they criticize America for actually taking a stand. Oh yeah, I forgot Britain and Israel.

Both domestically and internationally! In the first place, rather than turning Iraq upside down; all US military efforts should have been directed at hunting down and destroying Ben Laden and the Taliban. Secondly, I like being safe and secure..I don't mind the extra care and scrutiny at the airportsor other ports of call. However, it bothers me that people's communications can be monitored without reasonable cause or due process.

The war on terror was created to take away our rights. (Americans)
They want entire control of us. And they are slowly doing just that.
FEMA has laws that allow for marshall law.
This is a law in America.
All humans will be rounded up, divided by sex and age and placed in working camps.
All roads will be designated for government use.
No one will be allowed to leave.
Basically, Nazi Germany.
The president is allowed to call for Marshall Law with no approval from anyone else.
And there are no laws or rules to reinstate our rights...
Why?
Because we aren't going to be given our rights back...
research it its all in the Federal Emergency Management Act ...
Why they would do this, is unbenownest to me...
Other than the One World Order of the Antichrist....

When Republican Pat Roberts stated at that Senate committee hearing that Bush was right to engage in unauthorized wiretapping, because, and I paraphrase, but accurately, " Civil liberties are pointless, if you're dead", I wish someone would have replied that, "If you have no civil liberties, you might as well be dead!"

yes he is right vcause in both cases there is loss of human being .and this is not a war against any state so it will end soon in case of defeat of that state.it is endless war against hiden enemy.so naturall it will lead the war and loss of faith in minority of the world.and violation of human right in case of different laws.
