I can just imagine her strutting around in her new glasses. Feeling pretty and confident.Even brainy from the way the glasses look. If it was me , I would allow it and even support it. This is her way of telling you that she's a big girl now and can make her own decision. ( of course you also need to make sure that this decision will not hurt her in any way) Good luck ,

She'll have a ball trying out the different shapes of frames when you finally go shopping. Ask her to keep an open-mind. The two of you may be surprised to learn that a different frame compliments her face the best. You didn't state the exact shape of her face, but I hope this link helps you. And hey, if she still insists on the thick square glasses, go with it. Afterall, she's the one who'll have to wear them.

Yes, I think it will be cute.
I just read something online that said people with really round faces look good in square glasses.

Square frames look good on chubby cheeked kids. Go for it.

it depends on who is paying for them i feel they are to big of a frame and she will stand out and be noticed for the bad not so much of the good thinner frames will look better on her with the same strength as the ones she wants is it far that children always get what they want or should it be what they need them frames that i saw were geekish loking and it might effect your child to embarassment your the parent quit letting your child do your responsibility

I believe it's Lens Craters that has that trial going on. You pick glasses out and if you don't like them with in a certain date you can exchange them for another pair.

they are funky specs, this is the trend these days. anyway, can't decide till I see your daughter, though its hard to change a teens mind once they like something (am assuming she's a teen coz those specs wont suit a kid younger than that)

maybe yes, maybe no! but she is the one wearing them! not you! if they reallly don't fit, ask the shop if you can take them overnight (to show the dad!?!?!) and let your daughter show her best friends.
